The SIDS Centre of Excellence (SIDS CoE), in collaboration with the United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (OHRLLS), is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the SIDS Global Business Network (GBN) Forum 2026, which will take place in Malé, Maldives, from 23–25 August 2026.
The Forum will mark the official launch of the SIDS Centre of Excellence's Island Investment Forum (IIF) pillar, a strategic platform designed to mobilize investment, strengthen partnerships, and unlock sustainable development opportunities across Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
As part of the Forum, a curated marketplace will showcase innovative, investment-ready projects from SIDS, connecting entrepreneurs, governments, investors, and development partners to catalyze transformative and resilient investments.
The SIDS GBN Forum 2026 will bring together leaders from the public and private sectors, international organizations, financial institutions, and development partners to advance collaborative solutions that accelerate sustainable growth and economic resilience in SIDS.
