Transformative solutions by SIDS for SIDS

“The Centre will help island nations transform vulnerability into engines of resilient prosperity…”
H.E Ambassador Aubrey Webson
PermanentRepresentative to the UN for Antigua and Barbuda

4 pillars bridging vision and action

About the Centre of Excellence

The world’s small island nations have built an intergovernmental institution of their own, a Centre created by SIDS for SIDS, global in scope and anchored in solidarity.

The SIDS Centre of Excellence, established through the Antigua and Barbuda Agenda for SIDS (ABAS) 2024–2034, marks a turning point, a shift from advocacy to action, from vulnerability to collective strength.
